A young woman has been sexually assaulted in a late-night attack in Glasgow.
The 19-year-old was walking in the city's residential Woodlands area when the incident happened at about 11.20pm on Tuesday.
Police Scotland said the victim was at the junction of West End Park Street and West Princes Street when she was approached by a man who then sexually attacked her.
He then shouted sexual remarks before fleeing in an unknown direction.
The man is described as being in his 30s, with a heavy build and short to medium brown hair. He was wearing black thin-rimmed glasses, a white long sleeved top and dark coloured trousers.
Detective Constable Graham Morrison, of Partick CID, said: "This incident took place in a residential area which is usually quiet at that time on a Tuesday night.
"I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen or heard anything suspicious to contact police.
"Officers are continuing with inquiries, examining CCTV footage and speaking to local residents. Sexual crimes will not be tolerated in our community.''
