Injured driver dies after A80 crash in November
A driver injured in a road crash in North Lanarkshire has died in hospital.
He has been identified as Robert McLeod, 58, of Muirhead.
Mr McLeod was the driver of a Volkswagen Tiguan involved in a crash on the A80 at Chryston on November 28.
A Mini being driven eastbound by a 28-year-old man appeared to lose control and struck the Volkswagen travelling in the opposite direction.
Mr McLeod was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died on Thursday.
Police Scotland said inquiries are continuing into the cause of the crash and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
Officers have asked motorists who were on the A80 Cumbernauld Road at Chryston at around 5.15pm on November 28 to contact them on 101.
