Hurlford Mum Campaigns For Rare Genetic Disease Screening

Clyde News is hearing from a mum from Hurlford whose son suffers from a rare genetic condition, and says it's every parent's worst nightmare. Linzi Forte's 16-month-old son Joey has Krabbe disease. The tot was diagnosed with the terminal nervous system condition last September, but his parents are now campaigning to have a test which could've saved Joey's life introduced at birth - alongside the heel test.
