Hunt for man in connection with Glasgow city centre assault

Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an assault in the city centre earlier this year.

It happened around 3.40 pm on Friday 7th April in a shop on Union Street.

A 46 year old woman was approached by a male who then assaulted her before running away.

The man officers are keen to speak to is described as white, with a heavy build, in his late 50s or early 60s and was wearing a beige jacket, blue t-shirt and blue jeans.

He is described as having grey hair.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may recognise the man in the image or his description to contact them.
