Hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of drugs seized in Glasgow

Heroin, with a value of more than £350,000, has been seized by police in Glasgow.

Officers raided a flat on the city's Tobago Street around 7 o'clock last night and discovered the 7 kilo haul.

Two men aged 34 and 38 were arrested.

Detective Inspector Fergus Hutcheson said:

“This recovery will no doubt cause considerable disruption to the network of those involved in this type of criminal activity. Ridding our communities of drugs remains a high priority for us and we will continue to target those involved.”
