Detectives appeal for information after serious assault in Glasgow

CCTV images of a man detectives want to speak to a serious assault in Glasgow City Centre.

A man was left needing hospital treatment.

The incident took place at around 6.15pm on Wednesday 11th of September 2019 on Hope Street.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may recognise the man in the image to come forward as they believe he may have information that could assist their investigation.

The man in the image is described as a white male, slim build, short dark hair wearing an orange jumper, blue coloured jogging bottoms and white trainers.

Detective Constable Mark Soutter of Glasgow CID said: “As part of our ongoing inquiries we’re eager to identify and trace the man pictured and would ask anyone who can help us to get in touch as soon as possible.”
