Police appeal after high value car thefts in Glasgow

Police have launched an appeal after two high-value cars were stolen from outside a house on Merrylee Road in Glasgow.

The property was broken into and the white Rolls Royce Wraith and black Ferrari Scaglietti taken between 8.30pm and 8.45pm on Tuesday, 21st March.

Both cars were seen on the M8 heading from Glasgow to Edinburgh around 9pm the same evening and the Ferrari was traced in the Edinburgh area on Wednesday afternoon.

Detective Inspector Gary Cassidy from Helen Street Police Station said:

"I would urge anyone who saw either of these vehicles on Tuesday evening or since then to contact us.

“If you have any information on this break-in or theft, please contact officers on 101 quoting reference number 3955 of 21 March 2023. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained.”
