Harry Styles has broken the record for the highest selling stadium concert ever in Scotland.

The former One Direction star took to the stage at BT Murrayfield for two nights over the weekend, with over 65,000 tickets being sold for the second show.

Fans on both nights were treated to songs from the artist’s third solo album, Harry’s House, which celebrated its one year anniversary last week, as well as the hits from Fine Line and his self-titled first album.

Night one saw fans sing happy birthday to Fleetwood Mac star, Stevie Nicks, as well as Harry revealing the gender of the baby of someone in the crowd.

On night two, the superstar surprised the audience with unreleased fan favourite track Medicine, after teasing it earlier in the show having seen a fan’s sign requesting it.

The singer joked: “First of all, if we were going to play Medicine, it wouldn’t be right now, it would be later”, before going on to add: “I’ll see what I can do.”

The shows were part of the final leg of Styles’ two year long Love On Tour, which originally kicked off in Las Vegas in September 2021 to promote Fine Line, and is not set to wrap up until he reaches Italy in July.

It was the third stadium performance for Styles in Scotland in the last year

Starting as the first full capacity indoor arena tour in the US following the pandemic, the shows upgraded to a stadium tour for the first Europe leg last year, with Styles’ first ever solo stadium performance being hosted at Ibrox.

The additional dates this week mean he has performed three sold out dates in Scotland in just under a year.

Styles is heading briefly to France and the Netherlands next week, before heading back to the UK for a run of shows at Wembley and Cardiff.
