Teenager arrested following death of Hamilton schoolboy

A 17 year old boy has been arrested in connection with alleged drug offences following the death of another teenager in Hamilton.
Brandon Rice fell ill at a house party in Pitreavie Court in the early hours of July 17th before being taken to Hairmyres Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Brandon who was also 17 years old played rugby for his local team and was a pupil at Hamilton Grammar School.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "A 17-year-old man has been charged in connection with alleged drug offences."
