A man will stand trial accused of having two guns at Glasgow Science Centre.

Kevin Buchanan, 49, is alleged to have had the weapons on August 17, 2021.

Court papers state Buchanan had a replica pistol and a replica revolver without lawful authority or reasonable excuse.

Buchanan faces separate charges of having three knives without a reasonable excuse or lawful authority at Glasgow Science Centre on the same time and date.

He is said to have been on bail from June 3, 2021 at the time.

Buchanan appeared in the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Court where he denied the five charges.

A trial was set for January next year by sheriff Joan Kerr.

Buchanan, of the city's Priesthill, had his bail continued meantime.
