Organised crime officers have seized class A drugs, a six-figure sum and a gun in a raid in Renfrewshire

They found £65,000 worth of heroin, cocaine and cannabis at a property in Bishopton on Thursday night.

A 57-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested and due at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday

Detective Inspector Gordon Smith said: “This seizure highlights our continuing efforts to disrupt supply routes and protect those in our communities affected by the illicit drug trade.

“The operation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
