The Scottish Government is ruling out giving grandparents legal rights to see their grandchildren following family break-ups leading to major concerns for a support group. In 2006 a charter was set up to protect grannies and grandpas but now Justice Minister Paul Wheelhouse says he's not planning to review making access a statutory right. Grandparents Apart says the impact can be devastating for families and they're dealing with a dozen cases a week.

Clyde News Reporter Linda Sinclair spoke with granny Janet McNeil about her situation.
