Gold Cup at Ayr Racecourse cancelled
The Gold Cup Festival has been called off.

Bosses at Ayr Racecourse say they have been left with no option but to cancel the main race day of the Gold Cup Festival.
Part of the track is still waterlogged after heavy rain on Wednesday night, leaving it unsuitable for racing.
The event on Thursday and Ladies Day on Friday were also cancelled.
Thousands of women would have been preparing for the event. There was a prize of a trip to New York up for grabs for the best dressed.
