Global tennis stars in Glasgow for Billie Jean King Cup
The six-day event will be taking place at the Emirates Arena.
Tennis stars from all over the world are in Glasgow for the women's "World Cup" of tennis - the Billie Jean King Cup.
Great Britain is competing against 11 other nations for the world 2022 title.
The 12 countries - including Australia and Belgium - will compete in four round-robin groups of three nations, with the four group winners qualifying for the semis.
Speaking to Clyde 1 Billie Jean King said: "I've never been to Glasgow before and I have always wanted to visit this amazing city.
"I have Scottish heritage and I know this is going to be very special.
"I cannot wait to honour Andy, Judy and Jamie Murray and all they have done for the sport."
The Billie Jean King Cup is looking to encourage girls and young women to get more involved in any kind of sport.
Billie Jean added: "Women in sport do better in life and economically.
"We learn leadership skills and it could inspire them to do anything whether it is politics or to be the Chief Executive of a company - just whatever works for them."
British number 1 Emma Raducanu is being forced to miss the event because she is still recovering from a wrist injury.
Team GB captain Anne Keothavong claims her team can go far in the tournament despite their underdog tag.
She said: "Players on this team are capable of scoring big wins and we really do feel we have a good shot at winning.
"It is an exciting opportunity to play on home soil and have the home crowd here - we have not done that for a few years.
"We have had some great training days and are all feeling really good."
