Glasgow subway re-opens after passenger gets leg stuck between train and platform
The Outer Circle was temporarily suspended this morning

The Glasgow subway's reopened after a passenger incident.
The Outer Circle was affected while emergency services were in attendance.
It was closed for around thirty minutes but is now running again.
A spokesperson for SPT said: "Subway Outer Circle was suspended earlier today while emergency services dealt with a passenger incident at Cowcaddens station and the station was closed to passengers.
"We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank passengers for their patience while the incident was resolved."
A male passenger's leg had become trapped between the train and the platform.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "At 12.00pm on Tuesday, 27 June, Operations Control mobilised three appliances to Cowcaddens Subway Station to assist in extricating a male adult casualty who had his leg trapped between the train and the platform.
“The casualty with minor injuries was transferred to hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service and crews left the scene at 12.43pm".
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: " “We received a call at 1215 hours today to attend an incident at Cowcaddens Station.
"We dispatched one ambulance, our trauma team and our special operations team (SORT) to the scene.
"We transported one male patient to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.”
