Glasgow Street sealed off after gun fired in close
Officers rushed to Carron Place in Springburn on Christmas Day
Part of a Glasgow street has been sealed off overnight after shots were fired in the area.
Carron Place in Springburn was secured by police following the incident at 5.40pm on Christmas Day.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We received a report of a firearm being discharged within a common close.
“We have the area secured at the present time and are investigating the circumstances.”
It’s not yet clear if anyone’s been injured.
Officers have been given no description of any suspects and did not know what type of firearm had been used.
