One of the bridges across the River Clyde in Glasgow is being closed today in a major emergency services training exercise.

They're simulating an incident involving a school bus which has crashed into the River Clyde.

It is bringing together more than one hundred personnel, including police officers, fire and rescue crews, paramedics, coastguard and RNLI volunteers.

The road across Albert Bridge is closed from the junction with Bridgegate, on the north side, to Ballater Street.

The idea is to give medical and dentistry students experience of what it would be like dealing with live casualties in a major incident.
