Artists from some of Glasgow's most influential bands of the 1990's including Franz Ferdinand, Mogwai and The Delgados gathered last night to play a unique gig.
The musicians performed after a documentary road trip movie 'Lost in France' about their return to a small music festival where they played in 1997 was screened to 25 cinemas across the UK.
Clyde News' Chief Reporter Linda Sinclair talked to Alex Kapranos from Franz Ferdinand before the concert.
The documentary from Irish director Niall McCann came about after he met Aidan Moffat from Arab Strap at the end of 2012 in Dublin.
Niall says he spoke to Aidan all day about his memories of the trip to Mauron where all the bands played in 1997.
Niall says the bands played an influential role in his life and he thought it would be important to bring them all back together but take them back to Mauron.
The unique event was staged by the Glasgow Film Festival at the ABC on Sauchiehall Street and was sold out almost as soon as tickets went on sale.
