The Crown Office dropped the case against her because she was able to prove she is innocent through bank statements which she had offered up two and a half years earlier.
Jamie Webster MBE exclusively told Clyde 1: "I have many nights going to bed where I have been stressed out of my mind over this.
"However, I have always known I am doing the right thing.
"This has turned our lives upside down and I made a promise to my wife when she died that I would continue to fight for justice."
Julie was forced to move away from Summerston because of trolling and gave up her studies at college.
