Glasgow man in court in connection with Milton death

A Glasgow man has appeared in court charged with murdering another man in Milton.

David Lamont, 30, is accused of killing Eugene Richards, 41, on Monday 23rd October.

Lamont, appeared in private at the city’s sheriff court.

He made no plea and was represented by defence lawyer Peter Malone.

He was remanded in custody and will appear again for a full committal hearing next week.

Mr Richards was found with serious injuries in a flat in Liddesdale Square on Monday and was pronounced dead at the scene
