A Glasgow man has appeared in court charged with assault at a primary school.

A Glasgow man has appeared in court charged with assault at a primary school.

James McMaster, 38, faces a charge of assault to severe injury and another of assault.

He appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court where he made no plea and was remanded in custody.

A 42-year-old man was allegedly assaulted outside Garrowhill Primary School in Glasgow's east end.

McMaster, from Glasgow, will appear again next week for a full committal hearing.
