The incident happened at a property in the Robroyston area at about 11.45pm on Tuesday.
None of the occupants - a man aged 27 and two women aged 19 and 47 - were injured.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Three men went to a house and threatened the occupants with what is believed to be a firearm.
“They were all wearing dark clothing and balaclavas, and made off in a dark-coloured Audi. Nothing was taken, they just went in and threatened them.''
Inquiries are under way at the home, which remained sealed off on Wednesday
