Nearly £50k worth of drugs taken off the streets in Glasgow house raid

£48,000 pounds worth of drugs have been taken off the streets after a an intelligence-led operation by police from Greater Glasgow Division on Friday 8 September 201.

Officers, acting on a warrant, searched two houses in the Carmyle area of Glasgow.

During the operation the officers recovered a quantity of drugs, believed to by Cocaine, with an estimated street value of £48,000.

Officer say enquiries are ongoing.

Police say: 'This recovery demonstrates our determination in ridding our communities of drugs and we are always grateful for any assistance the public can give us in relation to this.
