Racist graffiti has been cleared from a wall at a Glasgow golf club.
It was found at Linn Park Golf Club in the south side of Glasgow earlier this morning.
The alarm was raised on social media this morning by a councillor, who said he had asked graffiti teams to remove it "as a matter of urgency".
Glasgow City Council has branded the vandalism 'vile', and says it has since been removed.
A GCC spokeswoman said: "This is absolutely vile behaviour and staff were on site this morning to have it removed as quickly as possible."
Glasgow Life who run the golf club also said increased checks will be in place to prevent any repeated crimes.
A spokesperson for Glasgow Life said: "This graffiti is being removed as a matter of urgency this morning, and the matter has been reported to Police Scotland.
"Regular building checks are carried out at all our venues while they are closed, and we will increase checks in this area to prevent any more acts of disgraceful vandalism."
