Glasgow car crash leaves man requiring emergency care

Police are appealing for information after a man was struck by a vehicle in Glasgow.

The incident happened around 8:35pm on Springburn’s Balgrayhill Road on Saturday and left a 30-year-old requiring treatment.

Emergency crews were called to the scene and he was taken away in an ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.35pm on Saturday, February 18, police were called to a report of a man struck by a car on Balgrayhill Road at Lenzie Terrace, Glasgow.

"Police attended and a 30-year-old man was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
