Girl, 4, fighting for life after being struck by a car in the Gorbals
Doctors are describing her condition as 'critical' after being knocked down near Blackfriars Primary School
A four-year-old girl is fighting for her life in hospital after being knocked down by a car outside a school in the Gorbals area of Glasgow.
It happened near Blackfriars Primary School in Cumberland Street at about 3pm on Tuesday 15 October 2024.
Emergency crews attended the scene within minutes, and the girl was taken to the city's Royal Hospital for Children, where her condition is described as "critical".
The 57-year-old man driving the white MG HS car was not injured.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: "We received a call on Tuesday October 15 at 15:08 hours to attend an incident on Cumberland Street in Glasgow.
"We dispatched two paramedic response units, a critical care paramedic, one ambulance, and our trauma team to the scene.
"Our first resource arrived on scene within three minutes, and we transported a child patient to the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow."
Police Scotland Sergeant Chris Hoggans said: "Our thoughts are with everyone involved and our inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened.
"We are asking anyone with information, including dash cam footage or private CCTV, to get in touch if they can assist with our investigation."
