Four-year-old girl fighting for life after being hit by car in Shawlands
The child's condition has been described as 'critical' by medical staff

Road policing officers are appealing for information after a serious crash involving a four-year-old girl and a car on the southside of Glasgow.
The incident happened around 9am on Thursday, 27 February, when the child was struck by a BMW X1 on Tantallon Road in Shawlands.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, and the child was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children, where her condition is described as critical.
The female driver of the car did not require medical treatment.
Sergeant Ally Wright of Police Scotland said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident, and I would urge any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
"I’m also keen to speak to any drivers who were in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage which has captured something of significance.”
