Gartcosh house cordoned off after man's body found

A house in a North Lanarkshire village is cordoned off after a man's body was found.

Emergency services were called to Slakiewood Avenue in Gartcosh at ten to one yesterday afternoon.

Detectives are treating it as unexplained for now.

A post mortem is to be carried out to work out exactly how he died.
