Gang with English accents attack man in Broomielaw

A 30 year old man's in hospital with serious injuries after being assaulted by four men with English accents in the Broomielaw at 6:05 this morning.

The man was walking near the Riverside Casino when the gang attacked him.

He was attacked by four male suspects who fled the scene and he was taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

The 4 male suspects are described as follows:

Suspect 1 - White male, English accent, 20s, 6’4, fair hair wearing a white shirt and skinny jeans.

Suspect 2 - White male, English accent, 20s, blond short hair swept to the side wearing a blue leather jacket and black jeans.

Suspect 3 - White male, English accent, 20s wearing a black leather jacket and white t-shirt.

Suspect 4 - White male, 20s, brown hair, 6ft wearing a grey padded jacket, blue jeans and grey Adidas trainers.

Detective Constable Vhairi MacDonald said: "I’d like to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of the Broomielaw at the time this incident took place and may have either witnessed the assault or saw the suspects hanging about."
