Man in hospital after being attacked by gang in Dumbarton
Officers were called out to reports he'd been assaulted by a group of four men in Napier Crescent around 10.10pm on Thursday.
A man's been treated in hospital after being attacked by a gang in Dumbarton.
Officers were called out to reports the 41-year-old had been assaulted by a group of four men in Napier Crescent around 10.10pm on Thursday.
He was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment and later released.
The men have all been described as white and of average build.
The first was wearing a dark puffer jacket with the hood up, dark joggers and trainers.
The second was wearing a beanie-style hat, a dark hoodie, joggers and trainers.
The third and fourth were wearing full tracksuits.
Detective Constable Iain Allison said:
“Extensive enquiries are being carried out to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
“We are appealing to anyone in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with any information to get in touch.
“I would also urge anyone with dashcam footage or private CCTV that could assist our investigation to contact officers.”
