Officers searching for missing Cumbernauld man Paul Booth have issued further images of him in their continuing efforts to trace him.

Paul, from Seafar, was last seen around 2pm on Tuesday 25 October 2016 on the footbridge between McGregor Road and Hillcrest Road in Cumbernauld.

He is described as white, 5ft 10 inches in height and of slim build with sallow skin and light brown cropped hair. When he was last seen he was wearing a dark-coloured hooded top, jeans, white trainers and a beanie hat. He walks with a slight limp.

He is known to frequent the Seafar and town centre areas of Cumbernauld, and I would appeal to anyone who may have seen him since he was reported missing, to come forward.

Inspector Phil Rose from Cumbernauld Police Office said: “Paul has now been missing for over five weeks and there have been no reported sightings of him, nor has he been in contact with any of his family or friends, which is completely out of character and his family are distraught by his disappearance.

“Despite previous media appeals, poster appeals and studying a large amount of CCTV footage, there has been no trace of him and we hope that these new images may jog someone’s memory.

“I would urge anyone who has any information on Paul’s whereabouts, or who has seen him recently to contact Cumbernauld Police Office on 101, or email Lanarkshiremissingpersons@scotland.pnn.police.uk
