A fresh appeal for information’s been launched following a fire at a block of flats in Duntocher.
A fresh appeal for information’s been launched following a fire at a block of flats in Duntocher.
Emergency services were called to the incident in Antonine Gate, where six flats had to be evacuated, on Sunday.
A joint investigation between police and fire services is continuing to establish the exact cause of the fire.
Detective Sergeant Gerry Shovlin from Clydebank CID said: “This fire caused extensive damage to the flats and enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“We understand that a number of people may have captured the incident on their mobile phones and it is important that they come forward and provide us with the footage as it could assist with our investigation.
“We would also like to speak to anyone who was in the area, particularly between 1600 and 2100 hours, who may have witnessed the fire or anything else of note.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at Clydebank CID via 101 and quote incident number 4409/30.”
