THERE's a renewed appeal to help trace a 29-year-old man from Lanarkshire who has not been since the end of January.

Jamie Waugh was last seen around 4am on Sunday, 31 January, 2021, when he left an address in Glen Avenue in Larkhall. He was reported missing to police a week later on Sunday, 6 February.

His family have also issued an appeal for anyone who knows where Jamie might be to get in touch: “Jamie, please get in touch, we miss you and want you back. If anyone can help with information, no matter how small, please call the police.”

Jamie is described as around 5ft 11ins, with brown, receding hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo on his right arm with the letters JAMIE and a skull roses tattoo on his left arm. When last seen he was wearing a black t-shirt, navy blue zipper top, black Adidas shorts and grey trainers.

Inspector Tony Gallagher said: “Jamie’s disappearance has had a devastating impact on his family and we continue to provide them with support at this difficult time. Our enquiries to trace him remain ongoing.

“I am appealing to anyone who might know where Jamie is to get in touch. Although he was last seen in the early hours of the morning, someone driving to or from work might have seen him. Any detail might help us to find him.

“If you can help in anyway please call us on 101, quoting incident number 1830 of Sunday, 6 February 2021.”
