Four rescued from water at Strathclyde Park

Four people have had to be rescued from the water at Strathclyde Park near Motherwell.
Emergency crews were call to the area shortly after ten thirty this morning following reports of concern for a person.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 10.41am on Friday, April 12, to reports of a person in the water at Strathclyde Park near Motherwell.
"Operations Control mobilised specialist water rescue units to the scene and crews safely recovered four casualties to a position of safety before they were handed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
"Firefighters ensured the area was safe before leaving the scene."
