Four Men Hunted After Teen Stabbed In Glasgow
Police are hunting a group of four men who stabbed a teenager in the street.
The attack happened in Blawarthill Street in the Yoker area of Glasgow at around midnight on Thursday July 23.
Four men got out of a black BMW 5 series and seriously assaulted the 19-year-old man.
The victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he received treatment for stab wounds, police said. He has since been released.
Officers are treating the attack as attempted murder and said it "appears to have no motive''.
One of the men, who got out of the car from the front passenger seat, is white, aged in his 30s with a muscular build and short black hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt during the incident.
Another suspect is white, in his 20s, around 5ft 10in with a slim build and short spiky hair. He was wearing a black Nike tracksuit at the time.
CCTV footage from the area is being reviewed and police are appealing for any witnesses who saw the car or the men on the night to contact them.
Detective Constable Andrew Kinnear said: "This attack appears to have no motive and we need to establish why this young man was assaulted.
"This is an extremely busy area and although the attack took place later in the evening, I'm sure someone will have seen or heard something and I am appealing to them to get in touch.
"If you noticed anything untoward or suspicious, please do give us a call and pass on the details - it could prove vital in our investigation.''
