A former football coach who sexually abused young boys has been jailed for 18 months.
Bob Allan, 69, indecently assaulted two teenagers in the 1980s and 1990s.
The pervert joined Motherwell FC as a youth development officer in the 1990s.
Wheelchair-bound Allan returned to the dock have earlier been found guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
Allan was guilty of preying on a boy - who was aged 13 to 16 at the time - between 1984 and 1986 at an address in Cambuslang, near Glasgow.
He also abused a 15-year-old boy at the same location in 1993.
His lawyer Lorraine Glancy said: “The offences that he was convicted of were opportunistic.
"This arose from his duties as a football coach and there are not opportunities that are likely to present themselves to him again."
The court heard claims Allan had also once apparently tried to take his own life.
A pre-sentencing report considered him to be of "high risk" of reoffending.
Allan was jailed for nine months each for the two charges. The terms will run consecutively.
Sheriff Alan Mackenzie said: "The gravity of these offences are that no disposal is appropriate other than a custodial one."
Allan, also of Cambuslang, was added to the sex offenders register for a period of 10 years.
