Man arrested in connection with flat fire in Clydebank

A man has been arrested following a fire at a multi-storey tenement building in Clydebank.

A blaze broke out at around 11.30pm on the 10th floor of a tenement building, on Littleholm Place in Dalmuir, on Sunday.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended - no one was hurt in the incident.

A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection and was expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

Enquiries are continuing into the incident and officers are eager to hear from anyone who was in the building, or its vicinity, on Sunday evening.
