haul of cocaine and cannabis recovered from four vehicles in Glasgow and Renfrew.
Police have seized drugs worth nearly £500,000 after stopping five vehicles in the west of Scotland.
Officers pulled over four vehicles in Glasgow and Renfrew on Wednesday and found 9kg of cocaine with an estimated street value of £360,000 inside. They also discovered £125,000 in cash.
In a separate operation, another vehicle was stopped in Glasgow on Wednesday and officers seized 58kg of cannabis resin with an estimated street value of £125,000.
Five men - aged 50, 39, 36, 24 and 34 - have been arrested in connection with drugs offences following the intelligence-led operations.
They are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court. Inspector Joseph O'Neill said: "This was a significant recovery which has reduced the potential harm which could have been caused by these drugs in our communities across Glasgow and Renfrew.''
