Five arrested after alleged 'race attack' in Glasgow
Police were called after a firework was thrown at the man's house in Berryburn Place in Springburn in the early hours of Sunday.
Five teenagers have been arrested after a 61-year-old man was allegedly subjected to racist abuse.
Police were called after a firework was thrown at the man's house in Berryburn Place in the Springburn area of Glasgow in the early hours of Sunday.
He was then allegedly racially abused and had bricks thrown at him.
Police said four males - two aged 15, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old - and a girl, 17, have been arrested in connection with the incident.
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
The 61-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and was later released after treatment.
The teenagers were expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
