Fire crews battle blaze inside Paisley Sheriff Court
Emergency services were called out at around 9.30 this morning
Paisley Sheriff Court has been evacuated since this morning after a fire inside the building.
Fire crews were called to the scene at around 9.30am after reports of a blaze.
Three trucks were sent out to the court, and firefighters managed to extinguish the fire.
However, they remain on the scene to carry out checks.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 9.24am on Monday, 13 November to reports of a fire within a building on St James Street, Paisley.
“Operations Control mobilised three fire appliances and an aerial appliance to the scene where crews extinguished the fire.
“Firefighters remain in attendance.”
