Crews are continuing to tackle a blaze after a fire broke out near Ibrox last night.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Broomloan Road at around 11.45pm last night.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service say fire fighters were faced with a "well developed fire" at a commercial building.

Police have advised anyone travelling in the area today that the road remains closed.

Fans attending the Rangers vs. St. Mirren match at three o'clock today are being advised to take an alternative route as the road remains closed between Broomloan Place and Orton Place/Woodville Street.

No casualties were reported, and the fire is now under control as fire crews remain on the scene.
