Fire close to railway line in Wishaw disrupts rush hour train services

A fire close to the railway line in Wishaw’s caused disruption to rush hour services tonight.

Scotrail’s been forced to cancel services between Glasgow Central and Lanark as engineers repair the damage.

Replacement buses have been arranged but the works are also expected to cause disruption to trains running between Edinburgh and Ayr.
