Ferguson Shipyard talks continue

Talks are expected to continue this morning between unions, the Scottish Government and the owners of Ferguson Marine.

The GMB had hoped the Port Glasgow ship yard would have been nationalised by the end of the day yesterday but a deal still has not been reached.

Bosses began the process of going into administration at the weekend but the Scottish Government announced they'd be willing to take it over.

It is the last of its kind in Scotland an employs around 300 people.
