Dozens of excited fans of The 1975 are camped outside the OVO Hydro in Glasgow desperate to get a glimpse of them ahead of their gig tomorrow night.

The front doors of the venue are surrounded by tents, sleeping bags and fold out chairs.

Grace has travelled all the way from Australia and told Clyde 1: "I have taken a few long haul flights to be here.

"It's lots of fun spending time hanging out with other like minded fans waiting for the gig and many of us have maintained a connection since meeting at a concert in Paris last year."

Matty Healy and his band will play their final two gigs in the city tomorrow and Friday before going on hiatus.

They have been taking it in turns to go and get food and have even booked out a couple of rooms in a nearby hotel for warmth.

Jessica came over from the USA and has been working from her laptop.

She said: "I have been a fan for a long time, but the past two years have been quite intense and I will really miss knowing there isn't a concert or a new livestream coming.

"My favourite thing about the band is their connection with their fans - they have a wristband system for their gigs and they know a lot of people who are outside with us just now."
