Salon owners offering botox who are dodging industry regulation have been warned they could face jail time if they do not sign up to a code of conduct introduced in April.

Clyde News can exclusively reveal Healthcare Improvement Scotland has now started legal action against anyone still offering the anti-aging treatments who is willfully avoiding them.

They introduced tough new rules six months ago and those offering the treatments were giving a grace period to get on board.
