Emergency services attend after van crashes into tree on M8
It happened around 7pm on Tuesday
Emergency services were called to Glasgow's M8 heading eastbound following reports a van collided with a tree.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service dispatched three appliances around 7pm to Junction 29A at Bishopton.
Police and paramedics with the ambulance service were also in attendance.
A man and woman have been taken to hospital to be checked over.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 6.55pm on Tuesday, 31 October, to a report of a one vehicle crash on the M8 eastbound near junction 29A, Bishopton, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and two people, a man and a woman, have been taken to hospital to be checked over.”
