A reported incident in the south side of Glasgow is no longer being treated by police as a case of sexual assault.

A reported incident in the south side of Glasgow is no longer being treated by police as a case of sexual assault.

Officers began an investigation after a female was reported to have been sexually attacked in Eglinton Court, near the O2 Academy venue, on Sunday night.

But a police spokeswoman later confirmed: "Following further inquiries into a report of sexual assault in Eglinton Court, Police Scotland can confirm this is no longer being treated as an incident of sexual assault.''
