East Renfrewshire Council want you to help balance their books
East Renfrewshire Council is looking for you to have a go at balancing their books.
The local authority need to make savings of around £26m by 2021 on top of the £37m they have already saved since 2012.
Officials say they have managed to off-set the impact of savings on the majority of front line services but they say they will have to make tough decisions in the months ahead in order to balance the budget for the next three years.
The Budget Simulator gives further insight into the budget setting process and can be used to help you think about what your priorities may be for the Council’s budget.
It allows you to reduce, and increase, spending across Council services and see the consequences of your choices.
The local authority want you to look at their consultation and have your say.
