Police appeal after car purposely set on fire in East Kilbride
It happened just before midnight on Tuesday
Police are appealing for information after a car was purposely set alight in East Kilbride.
The car was set on fire outside a house in Tweed Street, Gardenhall at around 11.45pm on Tuesday, 3 October.
No one was injured and the fire is being treated as wilful.
Detective Constable Ashley Hind said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the of Tweed Street around the time of the fire on Tuesday night.
"Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious, or who has any information or personal footage that may assist our investigation should contact 101 quoting reference number 4192 of 3 October.
"Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
