Celebrities including Hollywood actress Catherine Zeta-Jones and film star Bill Murray are among the big names at this year's Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
The pro-am tournament teed off this morning with the action taking place at the Old Course in St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns' Golf Links until Sunday.
Other celebrities signed up for the competition include singer Ronan Keating, actor Andy Garcia, Bon Jovi's Tico Torres and Linkin Park's Dave Farrell.
Scottish golfer Bob MacIntyre - who halted an American fightback in the Ryder Cup in Rome on Sunday - will also be trying to land the $5 million championship.
The competition used to be known as the Dunhill Cup and has a unique format, with two separate competitions.
There is an individual professional tournament for the world’s leading golfers with a US $5 million prize fund, and a team competition which features some of the world’s most celebrated amateur golfers playing alongside the professionals.
Professionals who have played in the Championship include the likes of Rory McIIroy, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and Martin Kaymer.
